The Nirvana Physiotherapy Center as the most well-equipped physiotherapy center in Qazvin, Iran which has been built through collaborating of disability association of Tavana (DAT) and the country of Japan for people with disability, was inaugurated with the attendance of the chairman of Iranian physiotherapy association, Qazvin city council members, vice-president of department treatment of Red Crescent organization, University of medical sciences vice-president of treatment, welfare organization vice president of rehabilitation, and some directors of DAT and huge crowd of people with disability.

Peik-e Tavana: In inauguration of the center, the chairman of the Board of Directors of DAT stated: “Nirvana Physiotherapy Center is the first and the most well-equipped physiotherapy center in Qazvin province for people with disability, the elderly, disabled veterans, and their families; this center started to give services in the two-storey building with more than 148 square meters area.”

He implied that this center is the first physiotherapy center which is constructed by an NGO in Iran and added: “More than 10 billion Rials have been spent to start up this center. DAT has considered some approaches, such as free and half-price services, to encourage people with disability to use the physiotherapy center for taking care of their physical health.”

This member of the Board of Directors of DAT also mentioned: “The children with disability are in the best age to be prevented from new hurts and the secondary disabilities and we have done some preparation to offer free treatment and physiotherapy services to these children and their families.”
